RECAP FOR THE WEEK OF: Nov 2nd, 2009
MONDAY IS UGLY!!! Lot's of strong cycles coming together on Monday. Expect the over trend to be down now for at least 2 to 3 weeks. I am looking at the 15th as the possible bottom right now. After that, up and down the rest of the year with an emphasis on down.
Subscribers were alerted to buy OEX and MRK options the week before last. These are the only 2 options that have been recommended this expiration period, and both are now above 100% profit. Oh, and those lottery like OEX options I said I bought at .40. Sold them on Friday at $1.45. Turned around and bought some more OEX options at .25. Ya, these are real long-shots, and I would never recommend them to paying subscribers, but I do like to let everyone know that I do put my money were my mouth is. That is not to say I haven't lost a couple of times--OK, a few times.
Follow-up
Monday was not was black; the week was up as a whole. Just means things are going to be even worse in the next couple of weeks.

The market is in for an abrupt turn. The next 2 weeks should see a great deal of movement. Could be a return of "irrational exuberance" for a bout of panic. I'll go with the panic. The market has been shrugging off bad news and continuing higher even with weeks of bearish divergence. Expect to see some news concerning something that has been hidden over the last few months, maybe going back as far as the end of August. Remember that 10/30/09 was a Gann weekly reversal. So, where is the reversal? Coming soon.
I am still holding my .25 ^OEX puts. Worth absolutely nothing right now. We'll see where they go this week.
Most active day this week should be Tuesday.
