RECAP FOR THE WEEK OF: Nov 16th, 2009

This week is chuck full of cycles turning. I am making the call for the downtrend to start now.

The M1-cycle hits agin on Monday. Lately, the cycle has been in almost perfect sync with the markets. Here are the previous dates it hit: 10/05/09, 10/19/09, 11/02/09. Get a chart of the DJI or OEX, and checkout these dates.

Another indicator that has been working well in this market is the Gann reversal signals. We have another on Wednesday (11/19/09) of this week.

Buying OEX puts would be a reasonable thought at this time.

Most active day this week should be Monday If we don't see a 3-digit move on Monday, then watch for one on Thursday..

Follow-up

Monday was the big mover this week (^DJI +136) as predicted. Thursday came in second (^DJI -93).

Market did reverse on the peak of the M1-cycle as predicted.

FORECAST FOR THE WEEK OF: Nov 23th, 2009

The M1-cycle should continue to influence the market the next two weeks, but this week is a holiday. I would not be surprised to see the market hold its own here.

The period of negative cycles--the type that cause short-term panic selling--has pasted. But the downward trend is expect to continue

Note: 11/17 was 1.5 * 1618 trading days from the SPX high in 2000. More reason to believe the downtrend will continue.

There is no suggested big mover this week due to this being a holiday week.
