RECAP FOR THE WEEK OF: Feb 22, 2010

I expect a negative week. Cycles are changing direction and the 26th is a Gann reversal date.

The markets are, and will continue, to discount the threat of a financial collapse in Europe until it actually happens, if it happens. Except a test of resistance Monday. A pull-back now could last through April. I see the beginning of a intense, worrisome, and possibly fearful cycle starting.

The violent weather cycle is picking up speed. Expect news worthy acts of nature, like high winds, earthquakes, volcano eruptions.

Friday should be down.

Wednesday should be the big mover.

Follow-up

^DJI lost 77 points this week. Thursday was down -53 points at the close, but Friday was down by -218 points intraday. Tuesday had the largest closing price for the week, but Friday's large intraday move can not be overlooked.

The predicted big mover for the week was Wednesday. As if often the case when we get the big mover for the week wrong, it usually occures the following day.

As predicted, we saw mother nature kick-up her heals this week with the Chilian earthquake.

The week was bullish, and the end of the week was less bullish than the first part.

FORECAST FOR THE WEEK OF: Mar 1, 2010

I expect to see a small rally in the beginning of the week, then we go down.

As for the month of March, cycles show a pretty negative picture. Expect to see explosive moves. There are strong similarities here to the 1930-1931 markets. I have been say for awhile now that we are going to see new lows in the March to May time span.

Important reversal dates this month are 3rd, 7th, 15th, and the 23rd.

Big mover this week looks like Tuesday.
