RECAP FOR THE WEEK OF: Mar 1, 2010
I expect to see a small rally in the beginning of the week, then we go down.
As for the month of March, cycles show a pretty negative picture. Expect to see explosive moves. There are strong similarities here to the 1930-1931 markets. I have been say for awhile now that we are going to see new lows in the March to May time span.
Important reversal dates this month are 3rd, 7th, 15th, and the 23rd.
Big mover this week looks like Tuesday.
Follow-up
We got a small rally in the beginning of the week, but then a biggy on Friday due to the unexpected jobless numbers.
There were two major reversal signals last week, and subscribers were told to buy OEX Puts. Obviously, those Puts suffered huge losses on Friday, but don't forget the two major reversals, and the fact that this month is set to show some explosive moves.
Earthquakes continue in Chile with some of the after-shocks registering +6.0. I think we are going to see more quakes and soon.

FORECAST FOR THE WEEK OF: Mar 8, 2010
Expect to see great volume and large price swings this week. Gold is set for a sharp reversal.
The second trading week of a month is usually down. The last quarter of the Moon phase is more negative than any other phase. Both are true this week.
Speaking of the Moon, earthquakes tend to occur around the New or Full Moon. Let's see, Haiti earthquake on 1/12/2010 just 3 days before a New Moon, which was also part of a lunar eclipse, and the Chilean earthquake on 2/27/2010 just one day before a Full Moon. Hmm... there is a New Moon on 3/15/2010.
Additionally, the Venus-Conjunct-Uranus aspect that formed last Thursday is one of the most reliable astro indicators for a reversal. Here are the dates this aspect has formed in the past few years. Pull-up you favorite charting software, and take a look at what happened.
